Chemonics is a global consulting firm that helps governments, businesses, civil society groups, and communities promotes meaningful change around the world to help people live healthier, more productive, and more independent lives. Chemonics began its work 32 years ago in such far-reaching corners of the globe as Afghanistan and Cameroon. Our projects now span five continents and all sectors of international development.  Chemonics performs its work under contract to the U.S. Agency for International Development and other donors. In Washington, D.C., and around the world, we offer management services, technical assistance, research, training, and special expertise in communications, grants management, procurement, and performance monitoring. Our partners include other development practitioners, private voluntary organizations, and many U.S. corporations. We also play an important role as proponents of a strong U.S. international assistance program. Under the auspices of several advocacy groups, we form coalitions to advance our views on the importance of international development to world peace and stability.
